ALL NITE SKATE CAST
Matt Mitchell was recently cast as a series lead in Apple TV's upcoming 2021 Fall TV Series, "Now and Then" with Rosie Perez. He's also known for guest roles on
ABC's "American Housewife" and Nickelodean's "Bixler High, Private Eye."
Matt is also an award winning short film festival winner. Winning laurels for writing and directing short films, "Public Life" and
"Closest Doors Keep Surburban Boys at Home".
Matt plays Nick in 'All Nite Skate', a filmmaker and DJ at the Jackson Skate Center. Nick is currently filming his 'Mortal Kombat' fan film with his friends and with big Hollywood dreams on the horizon -- Nick must now decide. Does he stay in his hometown or venture out into the unknown and make his dreams bigger?
Newcomer Brendan Hazel hadn't acted before when he saw the open casting call for 'All Nite Skate', but he felt the best way to get over a fear,is to face it.
Brendan drove three and half hours from his hometown to the first round of auditions. He thought he failed it -- only to get a call back.
The producers saw massive star quality in Brendan and he shines brightly as the affable and goofy Paul. The rink rat with the big heart, who always looks out for his friends. Paul believes the most in Nick, and wants him to always, 'make his dreams bigger.'
Cody Griggs recently graduated high school in 2021 and was accepted in Full Sail Studios University, a sister school of The Los Angeles Film School. Cody is set to make his own films and stories both in front of and behind the camera.
Cody plays Adam in 'All Nite Skate'. One of Nick's best friends and an avid gamer and 'Mortal Kombat II' champion. Adam and his younger brother Gabe are life long rink rats. Even if Gabe is always trying to do everything the older kids are always doing and getting Adam in trouble with their Mom.
Adam and Hedi have been together since the start of the summer, but their relationship is tested by the end of the all nite skate.
Hevan Leon is an actor and professional musical and theater dance choreographer. She also founded 'Storybook Entertainment'.
In addition to founding the Epiphany Theater, Hevan has also performed in the Tony Award winning plays, "Hamilton", "Disney's The Lion King" for
Between the Scenes Studios.
Hevan plays AJ in 'All Nite Skate'. AJ has been a part of Heidi's clique since seventh grade. AJ and Heidi may be too cool for the pool, but Heidi and the Clique haven't missed an All Nite Skate since Heidi's fifth grade birthday at the rink and they for sure aren't missing the last one of the summer.
CAMERON J. RADEMACHER
Cameron J. Rademacher is an actor and popular Twitch Affilate Streamer for video games and pop culture (TH: Haymara). Cameron also comes from a huge theater background and has acted in productions at Southeast Missouri State University.
Cameron plays Kyle in 'All Nite Skate'. Kyle is Nikki's ex-boyfriend and former rink rat. Kyle is a couple years older than the rink rats and hates that all of them still waste their time hanging out at a place for 'children'.
Kyle feels the town he lives in is small, everyone is stuck and they need to know about it. Kyle brings his hapless side kick, Ryan with him every where.
Kyle feels the rink rats need to grow up.
Olivia Gill is an actor/producer known for playing 'Abby Dobbs' on WGN's 'The Outsiders'. She also starred in the award winning web series, "Streetlight Stories", filmed in Pittsburgh. Olivia produced and starred in the festival winnging short film, "One Last Nite In Austin, TX."
Olivia recently produced the USC award winning short film, "Goggles", with All Nite Skate alumnus, Matt Mitchell and Miguel Angel-Garcia, with director
Olivia plays Nikki. She helps run the Jackson Skate Center with her brother, Brian. Their parents left it to Brian to run. Now in college, as the last All Nite Skate of the summer looms, Nikki struggles with having outgrown the rink.
Tabitha Petzoldt is an actress/singer/and filmmaker. She recently was accepted into the prestigious Belmont University to major in film studies. Tabitha has written and directed some award winning short films while attending
Belmont University in their film program.
Tabitha plays Jennifer in 'All Nite Skate'. Her best friend on the planet is 'Other Jennifer'. Known around the rink as "The Jennifers", they've been best friends since second grade. If you see one Jennifer, you always see the other Jennifer too.
Jennifer finds herself having strong feelings for Paul. With college on the horizon for both Jennifers, their life long love and friendship is tested by the events unfolding during this all nite skate.
Layton Lipke is a musical theater actor/singer/dancer who has performed with 'Behind the Scenes Studios' for many regional and state wide shows. Including the Tony award winning Broadway smash, "Hamilton".
As well as stage shows from BTS of 'Disney's The Lion King' and 'Peter Pan'. Layton is also a filmmaker, writer, and photographer.
Layton plays Gabe in 'All Nite Skate'. Gabe is Adam's little brother, but in a way, he's the rink rat's little brother too. Gabe lives at the rink, always trying to fit in with everyone else, or win Limbo or Corner games to get his "usual" snacks.
Gabe is always excited to help and really loves helping Nick film his 'Mortal Kombat' fan film and 'All Nite Skates' too.
Stella Wright has acted in many regional and musical productions for On Cue Studios. She's also had roles in the stage versions of "Peter Pan" and
"Charlotte's Web". Stella currently acts in her high school drama club.
All Nite Skate is her first feature film.
Stella plays Heidi in 'All Nite Skate'. Heidi has always been super smart, organized and popular. Heidi and her Clique might be the coolest kids in Jr. High, every other weekend, but once a month they make sure they're at every all nite skate.
Heidi had her fifth grade party here and it's part of their rink rat tradition. They're like, for sure not missing the last one of the summer.
Newcomer and roller skater/current rink rat Dustin Wright plays Ryan in 'All Nite Skate'. It's Dustin's very first feature film as an actor.
Ryan comes from a neglectful and drunken home. He use to skate all the time, it gave him a place to go to get away from his family. Over time as a kid, he started hanging out with the rink rats more and skate and make movies with them.
Eventually over time, Kyle felt sorry for him and befriended him and as they got older, convinced Ryan to stop going all together. Ryan deeply misses the rink and somehow still hopes that they miss him too.
Miguel Angel-Garcia was recently cast as Moco opposite Dennis Quaid in Netflix's 'Blue Miracle' (now streaming).
Miguel also had a re-curring role on Fox's "Deputy" as Wyatt.
Miguel was recently cast as a series lead in ABC's upcoming 2021 Fall Drama, 'Promised Land'. He also has the following films in post production,
'Carlos Through The Tall Grass.' and 'Die Like a Man'.
Miguel plays Trace, the sensitive artist with a sharp edge and a big heart. Trace is very protective of his friends and wants to see them succeed and reach their best potential. He pours his restless feelings into his art and wants to see Nick leave his hometown and go after his dreams.
Hana Hiromitsu is a talented actor/singer/dancer for live musical theater and dance performances. She has performed in several regional and state wide shows from Between the Scenes Studios including, stage versions of the Tony Award winning smash, "Hamilton",
"Peter Pan" and Disney's stage version of "The Lion King".
Hana makes her film debut in 'All Nite Skate' as 'Other Jennifer' of "The Jennifers". Also OJ to some of her closest rink rat friends. OJ is the tough friend who sticks up for anyone she sees as bully to others. She's dry and sarcastic and yearns to break free from her small town. As the summer ends, 'Other Jennifer' wrestles with uncertainty about herself, her friendships and her future ahead.
Reyt Middleton has performed and acted in many regional musical and theatrical productions as well as placed highly in Speech and Debate meets across the state and region. Reyt has also performed in many plays with the JHS Drama Club. Reyt is also a first rate DM in Dungeons and Dragons and was perfect for the role of Lucas in 'All Nite Skate'.
Lucas has big dreams of being the DJ at the Jackson Skate Center. He's always in a pair of headphones, or making mix tapes to practice. Witty and dryly sarcastic, Lucas is always there to respond with the one liner.
and THE CLIQUE
Sienna Hahn, Asylnn Titus and Billie Brady round out 'The Clique'. Heidi's ragtag group of Jr. High popular kids. Gwen (Sienna Hahn), Brittany (Aslynn Titus)
and Layne (Billie Brady).
All Nite Skate is the first feature film for Sienna, Aslynn and Billie. Many of them hail from model, dance, and film backgrounds. Sienna also signed with MTG Models and Talent. Aslynn has competed in and won major national dance and cheer meet competitions and Billie has recently started film editing classes in her audio/video club at her high school.
'All Nite Skate' is the first feature film for Christy Moore. Christy plays 'Shirley in ANS. A rink rat from the 70s, Shirley is now a struggling, hard working single Mom, doing her best to raise her daughter Jennifer.
Christy was also the films script supervisor, and in charge of keeping actors, scenes, props, costumes, organized and keeping with continuity.
Christy also helped Cherie Bancroft-Markham (ANS Production Designer) in the art and costume departments. Christy was responsible for putting together the 'MK' costumes as well as painting and designing parts of the DJ Booth and Ticket Booth sets.
with DAVID ALLSTUN as
Spoon Pictures Alumni and Jackson Skate Center rink rat, David Allstun plays Brian. The muscle bound owner who runs the rink with his sister, Nikki.
Brian is gruff but deep down, cares for his employees and his rink.
David acted in writer/director Nick Murphy's first Spoon Pictures film,
1993's 'Big Gun: The Epic Prequel'. David also played the ice-cold ninja, 'Sub-Zero' in both Spoon Pictures 1995/97 Mortal Kombat fan films.
In real life, David was a rink rat at the Jackson Skate Center with Nick in the 90s.
David was thrilled to play the former rink owner Brian who once yelled at him to get off the skate floor back in the rink days. He said how it was easy to channel that into his character for All Nite Skate.
